I have experience with many types of dogs and other animals. I grew up on a farm and enjoy working with animals. I've had my own dog for nearly 10 years now and raised him from 1 year old. He came with severe anxiety and abandonment issues, but we worked together to overcome the poor care and treatment he received in his past and he is now one of the sweetest and gentlest dogs I've ever had. He is friendly with all other dogs, big and small, and loves meeting new friends to go on walks with us. I live in a large townhome with a shared yard, in a dog-friendly neighborhood adjacent to several parks/dog-walking areas. I can do overnights on Fridays and Saturdays, day time care and/or drop-in visits all day Saturday and Sunday. I am willing to keep dogs during the week or for extended stays if requested, however I do work full time Monday through Friday, so be aware that animals will be crated for a period of time during the day while I am gone (we take short walks in the morning before I leave for work and long walks in the afternoons when I get home). Dogs we host must be non-aggressive to other dogs, cats, and children. That being said, your pet will never be bored at our house lol I specialize in caring for older dogs or shy dogs who would benefit from a low-stress, peaceful environment during their stay.
