I am a veterinary technician, and currently going to school to be certified. I also have a biology degree and studied chemistry. I have three dogs and a cat in my home and have lived with animals my whole life. I am available short notice because I am a stay at home Mother. I have worked with St.Hubert's Animal Welfare Center and the ASPCA, where I was coached in animal behavior and basic training. I have also done feral rehabilitation, cared for nursing mother's and their litter, and have cared for bottle babys (kittens and puppies). I am comfortable with medication adminstration, including pilling, blood glucose testing, insulin management, injections, and even simple things like nail trims. I am comfortable with going for long walks, and providing sufficient mental stimulation, and excercise.
