Pet care experience
I am available afternoons, and evenings and live on post, so access onto post is not an issue for me. I have grown up around animals my entire life and currently have two amazing dogs that have been with me and my husband for 7 years. I am able to handle dogs of all sizes and also have experience with senior animals. Both of my dogs weigh over 65 pounds, and one of them is an extremely stubborn senior dog, so I have no issues walking dogs that are larger or have a tendency to pull hard since that's what my daily walking routine at home is like! I am an animal lover to the core and will show your furry family member nothing but love and care!

Alexandria is the most devoted dog lover I know! Her own two dogs, Heplin and Coty, are always taken on long walks, given plenty of healthy food and snacks, and played with until the dogs and Alexandria are exhausted! Alexandria is the type of person who stops on the side of the road to help stray dogs get back to their families or to a no-kill shelter! In addition to her own dogs, she's taken care of the precious furry friends of her family, friends, and co-workers for years! Anyone who chooses Alexandria to take care of the barking members of their family can count on her to keep them safe, well-fed, well-exercised, and fully loved! There is no one I would trust more with my dogs than her!

I do not offer boarding at my own home at this time. However, I am more than able to care for your pet in the comfort of their own home. I understand animal behavior and am more than comfortable caring for animals of all personality types.

Absolutely tell me every detail about your pet, I want to know everything about them! Whether it be paying extra attention to burrs in the grass outside because your pet has sensitive paws, where they like (or don't like) to be pet and scratched, or exactly how they like to eat their food, I will pay attention to the smallest detail. Please let me know any health concerns, behavior concerns, all feeding details, and if your pet has a habit of going to the bathroom inside. I have no issues with cleaning up indoor accidents, life happens to all of us!
A typical day
I value letting dogs be engaged, both physically and mentally. On dog walks, we take our time to stop and smell everything (minus poop and dead animals). If a fenced outdoor space is a part of the home, we always go outside to play with toys, tennis balls, or to just lay out in the sun for 15 minutes.

Availability
I recently left the active duty Army and am now a full-time graduate student, so I am flexible to make time for your pet! Since we live in a military-rich community that runs on Fort Huachuca's time, I am more than willing to accommodate any special scheduling requirements your family may need.
