🐈Let me love your pets!🐕

Pet care experience

Hello! My name is Alexandria and I am a 4th year Ontario Technology University Student who is studying forensic psychology. I have had pets all my life and am looking to help others with theirs. I currently have two cats (Stark and Mercy), and there is another cat who lives with us as well (Ollie). They are all spayed/neutered and have all their shots. I have mostly had cats in my life, but I do have experience caring for family members dogs (my in-laws pugs, Kennedy and Charlie, my sister's Shepard mix (Russ) and my mom's bullmastifs, Mercer and Titus). My mother-in-law's pug, Kennedy, is blind. So I do have a little bit of experience in caring for her, but if you do have a special needs pet please give me explicit instructions about their care and I will do my absolute best to abide by them. I have a very flexible schedule, allowing me to walk your pet or check in on them almost any time in the day. If your walk or check in falls outside of my availability or designated area, just send me an email or text and we'll see what we can do! While on walks, I can try to reiterate any training that you have been giving to your dog. I also am more than willing to go for a jog with them or play some fetch or tug of war. I have two parks not five minutes from my home, so if your dog is good off leash then taking them there would be nice. Otherwise, the Harmony Valley Off Leash Dog Park is about a 7 minute drive from me. If you are requesting I go there please let me know in advance so I can make sure I have access to my car (I share it with my long-term boyfriend). My house is a little small. I live in a semi-attached house on Taunton Road. The pet will be confined to the main floor and/or the backyard. The backyard is decent sized and fenced in. Small dogs would be able to run around in it but bigger dogs I would prefer to take to a park. If you want, I can send you pictures before you have your dog stay with me so you know how much space they will have. In terms of cat enrichment, I have two beds on the main floor, as well as a kitty condo and tons of windows that they can look out of. I also have lots of toys they can bat around (they're probably all under the tv stand though 😅). Full disclosure: my three cats have never done this before, so I do not know how their reactions will be to other pets. I do trim their claws regularly so there shouldn't be any risk of injury, and they have never injured each other with their teeth. My sister's dog used to live here and they all loved harmoniously, but Russ mostly stayed out of the cats way. If you have a problem with your pet being around them I am happy to keep them either in the basement or upstairs.

Today I had Alexandria take care of my dog Xena and the experience was amazing. At first I was inquiring about only dog walking but Alexandria gave me the option of doggy daycare which was absolutely amazing and a wonderful experience for my dog. Alexandria made sure Xena got her daily exercise today as they not only went on walks but they jogged a bit too. Not knowing my dog and just meeting her today Alexandria used a learning technique with Xena when she comes to crossroads to SIT, which I thought was great! Communication with Alexandria was perfect throughout the day, she made sure all questions were answered and she also sent me pictures of Xena throughout the day. I will definitely be contacting Alexandria in the near future and I would definitely recommend her services to others.

I previously enlisted Alexandria's services to watch my pet cats and rats. I was extremely pleased with her professionalism and good attitude. She was easy to communicate with, and seemed to clearly and easily understand my pets needs. I will be using her service from now on and in the near future. ☺️

Alex (my girlfriend) took care of my mom's two pugs when she went away for a weekend, and she was excellent! She followed their feeding schedule's, took them outside for plenty of exercise, and seemed to really enjoy being around them. Alex also sent periodic updates to my mom on how the dog's were doing, to prevent my mom from worrying about them. Alex loves being around pets, which is why she started this job in the first place. At home we have 3 cats that she couldn't live without. Our house is too small to have a dog full time, so I know Alex will enjoy getting out and walking all of her customers dogs!

Hello, Alexandria is my daughter and she grew up surrounded by dogs, cats, birds and fish. Alexandria was always caring, loving and attentive to all the animals and took time to make sure each dog/cat was fed, happy and walked. Alexandria always has a little treat or catnip in close by and always takes the time to pick up new toys and treats for the fur babies. Wishing her the best of luck in her new endeavors...

I like to know that your dog is alright with cats. I have three here in the house and since I love them dearly, I enjoy knowing they are safe. I love big fluffy dogs. I think Samoyed's are the cutest thing on this planet. Saying that, I still love all other dogs, from fiesty Pomeranian's to sweet labs.

A typical day

I love going for walks, and there are two parks 5 minutes away from my home, so your pets will always be active with me! Additionally, I'm trying to live a healthier lifesyle, so if your dog is experience in jogging with you I would be happy to take them on my jogs around the neighborhood.
