Pet care experience
I am currently a Veterinary Assistant in Auburn. Beyond that I have also worked as a kennel tech, have a dog of my own and have been around animals all my life. This has allowed me to acquire a multitude of services and skills I can provide such as injections (like insulin), fluids or other needs. I have experience with special needs, senior and aggressive/fearful animals.

My personal dog is not dog friendly so I avoid having other dogs in the home for everyones comfort and safety. I am happy to come to your home! And pride myself on patience and perseverance. I am more than willing to spend a little bit of extra time or come before to meet and get to know your fur baby! If your dog has any special needs or concerns that is absolutely no problem I just ask that they be communicated to me beforehand!

I am open to all animals. I would have to say that not a lot stresses me a lot. Important things I would like to know is if your dog is recovering from surgery, any behavioral needs (i.e reactivity, fearfulness, dog aggression), any special needs such as medication’s or injections that they might have. Also a little note about their favorite activities. The more info the better.
A typical day
I personally believe that every dog is different in every personality is unique, so it really depends on the dog. If you have a snuggle bug, then I’m more than happy to cuddle with them on the couch or if you have a more high-energy dog I’m happy to go on runs or play in the yard or tug of war if it’s hot. For high energy breeds I also like to do mini training sessions with treats so they get mentally stimulated.

I recently graduated from Auburn this past May and am available Friday-Monday night. Tuesday through Thursday I am available outside of the hours 7 AM - 6 PM.
