I am absolutely dedicated to animals. In 2016, I founded Vicki’s Village Animal Rescue, a 501c3 nonprofit that rescues, rehabilitates and rehome senior and special needs animals. The organization closed its doors in January 2023 because of lack of funding, but I am continually looking for ways to help people and their animals.

Alexandrea was lovely! Very accommodating for pickup and drop off, and so many updates while we were skiing which made me feel so happy that she was well cared for. Will definitely book again!
Finding a dog sitter in the Mammoth Lakes area is not easy, so I’m so glad I found Alexandrea to take care of my dog Mia for a few days! She is very helpful, friendly, communicative, and accommodating. They have a lovely ranch nestled in the mountains where Mia had plenty of room to explore and play. Would definitely love to have Alexandrea care for Mia again.
Alexandrea was amazing!! I was out skiing for a weekend in Mammoth, and she made me feel totally at ease about leaving Sora with her. She sent regular photos and updates. Will definitely use again!
Alexandrea was an amazing host. She took such good care of our pup, made him feel loved and welcome. He even made a new best friend. Alexandrea was super responsive to all our inquiries and kept us appraised of our pup’s experiences through his stay. We highly recommend her. JBG & Fam.

I live on 5 acres that is completely fenced in. There is a rescue building (not a dog house) specifically for the animals with it’s own fenced yard on the property. I utilize the several outdoor kennels we have for my animals while your animals stay in the main house with us.

I need to know temperament around other dogs, people and animals in general as the most important information. Dogs will be around other dogs and it’s important to know how everyone reacts to certain situations.
A typical day
A typical day consists of waking up, going potty, having breakfast and then starting our activities for the day. I love to do a couple mile walk in the morning, an afternoon nap, play time in the yard in the afternoon, then dinner and snuggles on the couch watching a movie.

Availability
Myself and my father are the full time animal caretakers at the rescue. We are located in BENTON, so please be aware of that when booking 🙂 I am willing to schedule pick ups and drop offs for your convenience. My schedule is very open and I try to be as flexible as possible so please don’t hesitate to ask for special accommodations, I will be glad to do what I can.
