Work from home Mom w/ lots of time!

Pet care experience

I have been an active Rover sitter 14 months. I have built up a cliental over the last year of wonderful pets and owners. If you prefer a testimonial from one of my clients, please ask! I have house sit for many family members and entertained their cats/dogs since I was 18. I have owned 3 of my own cats and a dog. My 6 year old and I would love some company for new fuzzy pals. We are very active; love walks down to our local park, and have a huge fully-fenced in back yard. I would love the take care of pups and cats to fill the hours each day! (Note: we do NOT have a dog despite what my Rover profile says)

Alexandra did a great job taking care of our cat Inky. She was helpful throughout the process and I could tell Inky was very comfortable in her home.

Alex is fantastic and my go to sitter! She’s very flexible with drop off and pickup times, which helps tremendously when traveling. I can tell how much she loves the dogs she watches, I look forward to the great pictures she sends! She also has a great backyard for play time, thanks again and Tess is looking forward to her next stay!

Alex did an amazing job taking care of Zoe. We contacted her last minute and she was able to schedule a same day meet and greet. She sent daily pictures and videos, making sure we were updated every day. Will definitely be using her services again!

Having a young son keeps our house as safe as possible. There aren’t any harmful or dangerous materials out. We have a fully fenced-in back yard, and potentially harmful plants are up high. I believe in having all dogs on leashes regardless of where I am, keeping everyone, especially the animal safe. I do ask everyone be as honest as they can about their dogs comfortability in new places. Meet and greets can only go so far for us Sitters when meeting a new pet, and the owners really help us out when they can provide details of their pets behavior. I have an “Accident Fee” that I have yet to utilize but believe now it’s worth mentioning in case a cleaning fee needs to be charged after the booking. If you have questions please let me know!

Information Alexandra Z. would like to know about your pet

I always like to be informed of what a dog or cats usual daily routine is. My goal is to allow an animal to keep a relatively similar schedule so that their transition back to their home at the end of the stay is smooth. Learning a dog’s eating routine, medications, sleeping habits, walking habits, and possible anxiety triggers is always good to know so that I can aid in anyway I can. Of course, I like to know what their favorite snacks are; carrots, apples, treats, etc.

A typical day

I always like for owners to bring a dogs favorite toys, that makes it easy to keep them entertained in our backyard. The few dogs that I have boarded and had over our house really enjoy the wildlife and our backyard. We have a lot of bunnies, birds, squirrels, and other critters that seem to keep all the dogs very happy with entertainment. I do recommend packing some extra shampoo just in case a pup gets curious in the grass in our big backyard.
