Pet care experience
So excited to meet new furry friends. I have always had pets growing up, mainly dogs. Currently we have a cat. Her name is Meow. I found her at the tender age of two weeks in the pouring rain, abandoned, in China no less. After taking her in to the kindergarten where I worked, she ended up becoming my pet and moving with me back to the United States. My husband brings with him a dog into the family. Solomon, is an gentle giant. He is old and has arthritis. He gets along great with females dogs and cats but we will unfortunately not be able to host male dogs.

We live a bit off the beaten track, far from major roads. While we have a huge yard, there is no fence so only well trained dogs may roam off leash. Solomon is a little territorial and we can therefore only allow female dogs, which he adores without exception. We have a cat but she is faster and more agile than any dog. Our home is large (2000+ sq.ft.) and can accommodate for overnight visit given a good match. In addition to our pets, we also have a 7 months old baby, so if your pet is not baby friendly, it will not be a good match for overnight stays.

Availability
I am a co-founder of a start-up where I am responsible for administrative tasks that I mainly perform from home. On Tuesdays, I commute to Paonia for a day on site. In other words, I enjoy a flexible work schedule that leaves not only time but a need to supplement income.
