Xan is Delightful and Amazing! We had not traveled since 2019 and were nervous about leaving our “Peaceable Kingdom” of 5 (2 large dogs and 3 cats) for a long overdue 10 day vacation, especially since 3 in our kingdom are 12 years old. We immediately felt at ease when Xan came to our home for a meet and greet- the gang loved her- well those who were not hiding under the bed-lol! She was thorough and made sure she understood our gang’s medication and feeding schedules. During our vacation she provided daily updates and photos and won the trust of our under the bed cat! She even went above and beyond, repelling a rogue ant invasion around our kitchen sink (we get them every year in May). All in all you can relax when Xan is caring for your home and fur babies!
We can’t recommend Alexandra enough!! She went way above and beyond. We needed help with giving our cat new medication for a new illness when we went on a planned vacation. It was stressful for us to leave our fur baby behind, but Xan relieved so much anxiety. She successfully pilled our cat each day which is no small feat. Add to that, my dad accidentally let our other cat outside and she was lost for 4 days. Xan was so kind in helping my father (who was embarrassed and anxious) look for the missing cat then also sent photos and updates when the missing cat came home. Her communication and kindness was outstanding from the first meeting. Heck, she’s also a good human. You won’t regret working with Xan and your furry family members will thank you for placing them in such great care.
Our cats can be shy, but Xan did such a great job building trust with them. 10/10, would definitely recommend!
I feel so lucky when Lex is available to watch my boys! She does everything just right and my two cats are always super happy when I come home.

A typical day
I actually live right next to a state park and love to do all the walking trails. I love playing fetch, tug-of-war and my favorite game....sleepy-time snuggles.

Availability
I am an artist and work from home which comes along with an amazingly flexible schedule. For overnights, this includes an AM and PM walk/feeding and staying overnight in the home. I will usually also stay parts of the day but might be out of the house 4-8hours depending on what other check-ins and walks I have scheduled. 24 hour care can be discussed but extra costs will be associated.
