Pet care experience
Hi there! We are a husband and wife team, residing in Denver, Colorado, and we are absolute animal lovers. We currently have 3 wonderful dogs who love to have new friends come and sleep over. I personally have been pet sitting for over 15 years and consider it the best job in the world. I am currently a nursing student at the Anschutz Medical Campus and my husband is pursuing his Masters Degree in Information Systems Security. He studies at night and I study during the day, so one of us is always home to be with the dogs. If not, they are only ever alone for a couple hours at a time. In our free time we enjoy spending time with our pets, enjoying the outdoors, traveling, cooking, and being with friends and family. I guarantee that your pooch will be happy, safe, and absolutely loved in our home. We will take care of him or her as if he or she were our own. Please consider us to take care of your best friend next time you are away! About this sitter: Hi there! My name is Alexandra and I was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. I am currently studying to be a nurse at the CU Anschutz Medical Campus. I am also a certified yoga instructor. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my pups, being in nature, doing yoga, watching movies, being with friends and family, and eating delicious food. I am an absolute animal lover and someday, I plan becoming a certified animal trainer. I also plan on opening my own shelter for dogs that I personally rescue and rehab. I have been pet sitting for over 15 years and consider it the best job in the world. I love taking care of others' animals. Why I love dog sitting I have been taking care of other people's dogs for over 15 years and have not lived a day of my life without having one or more as my pet/best friend. Currently I have 3 dogs, and would have more if I thought there was enough room in my house! Meet my pets Our house is a two level home. We have a large backyard, a doggie door, and are 3 minutes from the Highline Canal Trail, where we take our dogs for walks all the time. The house is extremely pet friendly (since we have 3 wonderful dogs of our own) and is cleaned regularly. Our backyard is surrounded by 6 foot fences and we hire a service to come once a week and pick up the dog waste. About my yard We have a large backyard with 6 foot fences all around and a doggie door so they can go outside whenever needed.

Bear's stay with Alexandra was amazing! She was more than accommodating and so helpful. Bear had such a fun stay with her and her pups on Thanksgiving!

All 3 of my dogs are very friendly and love other dogs. I will accept any dog into my home as long as they aren't aggressive towards my dogs. If there is an aggression issue, I have absolutely no problem staying with the dog at his or her owner's home.
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks I will take your dog on walks as per your request and instructions. Your dog's sleeping arrangement On the couch, on the floor, in a crate...wherever your pet is comfortable and most accustomed. Time I'll spend with your dog As much time as is required to make sure the dog gets play time, walk time, and food and drink. Time I'll spend with your dog As much time as is required to ensure the dog has play time, walk time, feeding, and is as comfortable as possible. Obviously I will be there every night, all night and several times throughout the day.
