EXPERIENCE I've owned dogs for my entire life, and dog-sat causally for friends and neighbors for many year.s Unfortunately, since moving to Baltimore two years ago, my combination of frequent travel and city living don't allow me to have a pooch of my own - so I get my fix through taking care of others' furry friends! I have an active lifestyle so there is nothing that I love more than an early morning walk or a long afternoon hike with a dog. I do live on my own in a pet-friendly home, so I am always happy to host an overnight k-9 visitor. Living right net door to Patterson Park, I find that many dogs love taking advantage of the field space for catch, as well as a safe space for walking (and even a dog park for the social pups)! My experience includes everything from very young to very old, and small to large breeds. I also have experience administering various medications to dogs, and am happy to accommodate unusual needs as long as I have all the info! ABOUT ME I am an international public health professional working at Johns Hopkins, where I also just finished my Master's degree. My work hours are flexible and my office is just up the street, so I will often work from home, head home for a lunch-time walk, or rearrange my schedule. My hobbies include running, hiking, kayaking and camping. More than anything, I love dogs. Having been an owner, I understand the guilt and worry that can come from leaving your furry best friend behind, so it is my pleasure to do everything possible to alleviate those concerns in pups and owners alike :) My commitment is to care for your dog as if (s)he were my own.
