Pet care experience
My husband and I are young professionals living in the Mebane, NC. We both are avid dog lovers and just got a dog of our own in March of 2020. Julep, our dog, is a lab mix and she is super friendly with dogs and loves to play. If you’re looking for your dog to have a buddy while you’re away, look no further! We have been watching dogs/cats for about 9 years and would love to continue walking/sitting pets here in NC. We have experience taking care of puppies as well as elderly dogs. We are familiar with rescue dogs who need some space, and pooches who love to get all up in your business. Our apartment has a dog park and great nearby walking trails that we can take your dog on. I work from home typically 2-3 days per week so your fur baby will have Julep and my company during the day! 😀 I look forward to hearing from you and setting up a meet and greet!

Our entire home is dog-proofed! We have a dog ourselves and understand that sometimes even the goodest girls and boys can be naughty! Prior to booking with us we will ask you questions about your dog and if there is anything we need to address (e.g. covering trash, not sharing toys, etc.). Our biggest goal is to make sure that every dog is safe, comfortable, and happy with us!

It would be great to know if your dog is friendly with other dogs and people. It would also be great to know if your dog has any separation anxiety or chewing habits before leaving him/her with us so that we can prepare and adjust our schedule to ensure every dog is happy and comfortable with us.
A typical day
Our apartment has a dog park and great nearby walking trails that we can take your dog on. For the couch potatoes, we also have a comfy couch! ;) If you have a typical activity schedule with your dog, we are happy to match that during her/his stay. I work from home typically 2-3 days per week so during the day your dog will get some TLC and adventure time!

Availability
I currently work from home 2-3 days per week, and will be available to give your dog TLC and walks during the day. During the weekends, I will block my schedule so that I can take Julep and your dog on an adventure, or be couch potatoes! I understand it can be scary for dogs to be in a new place alone, so I mend my schedule so they don't have to!
