I am a current staff member at the Animal Care League as an animal care tech. Every day I go to work, I spend my time taking care of all of the shelter animals, but have been primarily working with the dogs. I have walked the smallest dogs to the biggest and absolutely love it. Prior to starting my job at the shelter, I volunteered and pet sat for about 15 years. I also care for pets when I nanny or babysit, since the majority of the kids I’ve cared for have dogs, cats, and even sometimes birds, reptiles or smaller mammals. I do have two cats at home, and my dad and stepmom have a dog that I visit/sit for often. I’d love to adopt my own pup one day. Just waiting for when I have a nice yard for them to play in and run around!
