Hi, my name is Allie! I have had dogs my entire life and have been taking care of other people's pets for as long as I can remember. Since moving to Hawaii, I have been dog sitting full time and love it! My husband and our two dogs also help entertain new doggy friends with lots of belly scratches and games of fetch. I have experience caring for dogs with special needs (medication, diets, etc.) and of all different sizes and breeds. Our home is extremely dog friendly and we aim to treat your dog(s) like family during their stay with us!

Alexandra did a phenomenal job taking care of our senior dog. She followed all feeding and care instructions and gave us daily updates and photos of his stay. Any questions or concerns from us were addressed promptly.
My dog is always welcome at her home and she treats her as one of her own!!!

I can't have enough about Alexandra!!! From day one I felt comfortable around her and Oliver, Milo was in the house. She did exactly what she said she would with pictures and updates, I didn't have to worry about anything! She was so kind to my sweet boy and he was happy to see her, even after only one meeting. He was best friends with her dogs, but was able to share space happily. I'm so thankful for her and glad that my little boy enjoyed himself.

I am a huge believer of treating others how I would like to be treated and have that same belief when it comes to caring for other people's pets. When dogs stay with our family, they are treated with them same love and attention that we provide for our own dogs. We offer a safe, clean and quiet environment to make your pup as comfortable as possible while you're away. If requested, I would be happy to send daily pictures/videos and updates during your dog's visit. We have a fenced in backyard and dogs are given unlimited access to AC and water. It can be hard trusting someone new with your pets, so I would be happy to arrange a meet and greet prior to the boarding date if you'd like!

Let me know if your dog has any medical or dietary restrictions (including allergies). Also, please let me know if your dog is reactive on a leash or is fearful of certain things. I am totally fine working with them but need to know what might trigger them!
A typical day
I love taking walks and getting to explore new places around the island! My own dogs aren't super adventurous so we stick to walks around our neighborhood. If your dog is the curious type, I would love to take them hiking, to the beach etc. At home, I keep dogs stimulated with lots of toys and play time. When we aren't walking or playing, we're probably getting lots of snuggles and belly scratches in on the couch.

Availability
I am currently not working, so my full time job would be caring for your pet! I am flexible with drop off / pick up times and am conveniently located across the street from the airport. I limit my time away from home when we have boarding guests so rest assured your dog won't be spending their days in a kennel. I take a minimum of two walks a day-morning and evening time and give potty breaks in the backyard as often as needed. If your dog is down for an adventure I'd love to take them to the dog park or on a hike! I will maintain any schedules your dog has (meal times, potty times etc.) while providing lots of love and play time! If your dog prefers to take naps on the couch and lay out back in the sunshine, I'd be just as happy to share that time with them too!
