Pet care experience
Hello there! My name is Alex. I have 4 years of professional pet care experience as a volunteer for Michelson Found Animals, Dogs Without Borders and The La Belle Foundation. I have been trained to work in dog daycare, animal care, and as a foster. I have my own rescue pup named Friday who is a foster failure. He is a 4 year old Pit Bull. He is loving, friendly, and very well socialized. Please, however, do not book me if you are uncomfortable with pit bulls. They are a wonderful breed! I am a confident handler. I have worked with foster dogs of all different ages and with various behavioral issues like separation anxiety and resource guarding. I have lots of experience with puppies who have not yet been vaccinated but, as I have a pet of my own won’t accept puppies with giardia. Beyond my experience, I absolutely love dogs. Working with dogs is the most rewarding thing I do. I believe our pets make us better people! I find so much joy in training, playing with, and cuddling with our better halves 😉 I can’t wait to provide your babies the love and care they deserve!

Alex is amazing! Highly recommend and we will definitely rely on her assistance again! We have a high energy 10-month-old puppy so I really appreciated her willingness to do a meet and greet before the full-day of dog-sitting. It’s evident she has a lot of experience with dogs and, as a new dog owner, that gave me a lot of comfort and piece of mind. Alex asked great questions, followed all of our instructions, sent updates, and also accommodated an early start time! She has an outdoor space and an adorable dog, Friday, who was an awesome, and patient(!), playmate for Rafa. Our puppy came home happy and exhausted from a full day of fun. So appreciated! Alex and her partner Tony are well versed in the training and care of dogs. I was so impressed with how they trained their dog and immediately felt comfortable leaving my dog with them. She had plenty of toys, food bowls, and places to lay around for my pup to feel at home and allowed me the ease of just dropping my dog off.
Alexandra is amazing! Her dog Friday is the sweetest gentleman. Thea had a blast. My one regret is that Rover has outsourced their call center, no way to get a resolution to issues booking. Sadly will be moving on to another service.
Alexandra is awesome. She and her partner were so caring and sweet to Ollie. I could tell Ollie felt really comfortable with them by the end of his stay. Not only were they sweet to him but they were accommodating to me for pickup and arrival times and I couldn’t ask for better dog sitters. I will def be seeing Alexandra next time if I need someone to watch Ollie!

I will provide plenty of entertainment and exercise for your pets. We will run in the park, take walks, hike, and I’ve got my own socialized, playful dog they can hang out with. A tired pup is a happy pup. I have a small fenced back area so we can sun bathe and get some fresh air. I also have experience with groups of dogs and know what to watch out for when they play.

A typical day
I live in the lovely neighborhood of Palms and there are plenty of places to walk nearby. I am an avid hiker and more than happy to take your active ones out on the trails! I typically don’t do dog parks but Friday loves to play fetch at the park. If your pups are good off leash I would take them out there for some exercise.
