Hello! My name's Lex, I'm here to give your dog great care and loads of fun while you're away! I've grown up with all types of dogs and I love their fun and unique personalities. From small chihuahuas and pugs to pitties, boxers and dobermans, each dogs is an individual and I love caring for them all. I worked alongside a professional dog trainer to learn her techniques tailored to different personalities of dogs and their body language. By being able to understand how your dog communicates I can better attend to them and play with them! I absolutely love working with animals and I'm dedicated to ensuring your dog has as much fun with me as they would with you. I am friendly and easy going, if there's anything you need to communicate to me about your dog I'm very approachable. As a freelance illustrator, I work from home frequently and have flexible availability to spend time with your dog while you're busy. I have 4 days of open availability and 3 days that I'm free in the mornings and evenings. I live in Oakland within walking distance to great places that dogs love for walks, like parks, gardens and the Lake. I'm experienced with puppies and young dogs that may need more constructive walks, visits and lots more playtime. Making sure to practice and adhere to any rules or new skills that you're teaching them. I've also worked with special needs and elder dogs who may need extra care. I can quickly identify if a dog is injured or sick and administer the appropriate care or get them to a Veterinarian. I'm very happy to care for any dog no matter their age, energy levels, personality quirks and specific needs. I'm so looking forward to spending time with your dog wether it be a visit or an overnight stay, your dogs visit will be fun filled with lots of love!
