Pet care experience
I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life, and I absolutely love them. It wasn’t up until recently that I got a dog of my own since I can now work from home. I feel I have the patience to deal with pets even when they make accidents or don’t listen. I don’t believe in forceful discipline or yelling at animals, I’m always gentle and use the same command words when they’re doing something positive vs negative. I don’t provide any training atm, but I can work with any training guidelines you may have in place.

Depending on the yard I am provided, I will either let the animal outside in the backyard or I will take them for a walk where they can potty, pick up their “gifts” and dispose of them. Make sure they can get some fresh air and exercise depending on the weather and the animal’s energy level.

Please let me know the age of your dog, any type of special needs they have, medication they might require. I will also need to know how friendly they are with other animals, and how to proceed if we run into other animals out on our walks.
A typical day
I love finding new trails to go on walks, typically ones that are surrounded by grassy fields or trees so that the dogs can run and play instead of walking in a straight line continuously. My dog personally doesn’t play fetch or play with toys, but I would love to toss a ball around with a dog who’s more playful! If your dog is more chill like mine, I’m fine with walking around and letting him/her sprawl out and enjoy the sunshine.

Availability
I work from home, and can choose my own hours. My schedule is pretty flexible as long as I’m given some notice :) I’m looking forward to spending more time outside of my home office. *weekends may be available and can be discussed per client*
