Hello, I’m Alexandra. I've owned dogs since I was 12 years old and each one of them truly brightened up my life. I love animals of all shapes and sizes. I was a teacher for 10+ years and have lots of experience caring for other people’s loved ones. My dogs are one of the most important parts of my life. I know how stressful traveling can be when you have to leave your fur baby behind. I strive to leave my clients with a sense of comfort knowing that their pup is in good hands while they’re away. I live with my mother, father, and our two dogs in the Aberdeen neighborhood. I love how peaceful and quiet it is and I always feel safe when I walk my dogs. There are plenty of sidewalks and grassy areas to run around on. However, I prefer to pet sit at the my clients’ homes. I’m a reliable, caring, and responsible person. I get along with just about anybody, love to laugh, and always have a smile on my face. I treat every pooch I care for as if it were my own. I love walking, playing, and snuggling with animals! I was born and raised in New York and have lived in Florida for three years now. I was a preschool teacher for five years before moving to the Sunshine State. I currently work for an online company selling high-end furniture. I enjoy going to the beach, going to concerts, playing tennis, hiking, and trying out new restaurants. I also love being around my friends, family, and pets. I've owned two Malteses and two Chihuahuas. I also have experience with other breeds including Great Danes, Boxers, Pugs, and Poodles. I previously volunteered at a no-kill animal shelter. If there is ever something I can do to help dogs feel more comfortable, I want to do it!
