Pet care experience
I have a three year old golden retriever who a light in this dark world and objectively the best boy around. However, I love all animals and treat them all as my own, showering them with love, attention, positive reinforcement, exercise and stimulation. I’ve spent the past 5 years dog sitting for several different friends and Rover clients, I’ve learned a lot about how to get dogs to respond to someone who isn’t their owner, and dogs really seem to respond to me. Perhaps because I run around with them and never tire of playing with them. I’m also a volunteer at the spca. Let me play with your dog!

Alexandra was great with my dog, Richard. She was very accommodating with his needs and very capable of handling a high-energy, 85lb dog. She was professional and quick to communicate, as well. I would easily recommend her to any of my friends with pets.
Alex watched our border collie for 9 days while we were away. She did a great job with Maggie and we couldn't be happier. Alex was very good at updating us and sending pictures of the many walks that they went on. Maggie was very happy and relaxed the entire time we were gone. We will definitely be contacting Alex again for future sitting.

A typical day
I like a morning walk followed by a little play before breakfast, a lunch time walk around the block, and an evening play at the dog park. That is the schedule for my own dog and is very adjustable.

I work full time but am active every morning, lunch break and evenings. I can work around your dog’s schedule and give as much time as is necessary.
