Growing up I have had a few different types of dogs one mix medium sized, one small under 12 pounds and now a male Labrador retriever who is 5 1/2 years. old. I have always felt very calm and relaxed around animals / dogs My own dog has allergies therefore I am aware and ask before giving treats or food to pet.

Alex is engaging and caring with pets and people and always observant and in activities. Alex is able to pick up signals and learn customers preferred commands with pets hand gestures or verbal. Alex also has some experience working with therapeutic dogs at her agency as a graduate student in mental health.

When caring for pets in My Home making sure that my own dog Zane Labrador retriever who is a very nice and friendly will be safe along with family members and other pets . Continuously making sure the pet has water in bowl, is fed on time and correct amount. Also making sure the pat has outside time to play and or potty breaks including walks. If needed could provide baths, medication‘s and basic first aid.

A typical day
Playing with favorite toy or toys going outside on walks engaging with other dogs or pets when appropriate. Keeping the pet engage and stimulated throughout stay.

Availability
Courtney graduated with my masters in social work. December 2022 and I am unemployed at this time. Taking time to myself exploring life and will be doing some traveling before full time employment. Therefore as of now I have time to help pet sit and help others who are working or traveling themselves.
