Pet care experience
I grew up with several dogs that we always considered part of the family. My husband and I focus on a loving environment with obedience training and lots of fun. If medications or specific training techniques are needed, we can oblige! My husband and I are currently working from home, and are rarely gonna for more than a couple of hours since we live downtown. We have two female dogs. Luna is coming up on 3 years old and loves to make new friends. She loves to both play and snuggle, depending on the energy of the dogs around her. Telluride is a little over a year old. She could not be more sweet and loving. We live in a house with a large, fenced-in yard in northern Hixson. We take our dogs to Greenway Farms or PlayWashPint often, are very active with the pups. We do not typically crate dogs, but do own 1 medium-sized and 1 large-sized dog crates if you would prefer that for your dog. Both of our pups absolutely love to play and interact with other dogs. Luna is very well trained (we are working on training Telly) and both of them love making new friends! I am currently working from home with my husband , and love to take care of pups while our "nest" is still empty. Luna and Telly love to make new fur friends! We have a fenced-in yard and lots of indoor space for your pup! Though I do not typically crate, I am happy to accommodate whatever your dog is used to.

Alexandra and her husband were very sweet and took great care of Petey. She is very considerate and great at showing pictures and videos of your dog’s stay. I know Petey had a blast in their spacious yard playing with their own adorable pups!
This couple was a godsend for us. Their calm, laid back and loving nature made us and our dogs feel comfortable enough to have our babies stay for a whole week. Alexandra sent us frequent pics and videos and was quick to respond whenever we messaged. They were flexible with our drop off and pick up schedule as well. Our dogs appeared happy and comfortable at their home, and we felt sure that they would be well taken care of should some unforeseen situation or problem arise. I believe we have found our “go to” care for the four legged family members. I would not hesitate to leave my furry babies with Alexandra and Rick again.
Excellent care takers for our fur baby! Great communication, kept us up to date on how our pooch was doing. Very friendly and could tell pup was well taken care of. Would recommend, and will definitely book again in the future. Thank you SO much!

We have two female dogs that get along with most all other dogs and are highly socialized. We love to do meet and greets to ensure compatibility, so please ask if you prefer that! Our only request is to please let us know if there are habits or behaviors for us to specifically prepare for (such as chewing habits, directed aggression toward specific people or situations, rules on table scraps, food allergies, etc.).
A typical day
We are flexible with our schedules, and can tailor activities to fit the needs of high or low energy dogs. Depending on the weather and owner preference, we love to do multiple activities, including: treat training, dog parks, hiking, long walks, short jogs, a more secluded playtime at the fenced-in area at our home, relaxing with snuggles.

Our younger pup has a strong internal clock, so I am usually up by 6:30 every morning. The rest of the day we are both usually home.
