Hi there :) My name is Alexandra and I am a true animal lover! Ever since I can remember myself, I have been taking care of all the stray animals I found around my neighbourhood, because I had this irresistible calling to care for them and offer them love. I’ve had animals most of my life: dogs, cats, fish, turtles and even a pet hedgehog! My cocker spaniel Gabi, the ‘love of my life’, passed away in my own arms surrounded by love and care and I was with him from the very beginning to the very end of his life. It is truly amazing how deep this love between human and animals can be and I am still amazed and animated by it! My professional pet sitting experience started many years ago, when the mom of an adorable little girl I was taking care of asked me if I could pet sit her sweet rescue doggy while she was away on holiday with her family. It was a road of no return for me and ever since I’ve been pet sitting professionally, gaining tons of experience with animals of all ages, sizes and conditions: from puppies to older dogs, from mini Pomeranians to a gigantic Great Dane of 90kg, from strong, athletic dogs, to dogs that have health problems and require medication and extra care and attention. I have also taken care of and very much love cats, both indoor and outdoor ones, and have had my own little ‘cat family’ of 4: a mommy and her 3 kittens! During pet sittings I am super happy to spend lots of quality time with your furry friend, to cuddle, play, take them out for long walks, walk in nature, play in the yard, and give them the love and attention they need, making their time away from their beloved owner as relaxing and pleasant as possible and your experience stress-free, enjoyable and safe. Upon booking a pet sitting with me you can be sure that I will take great care of your furry friend, follow their routine, shower them with love and offer them the time they need for playing, mental stimulation and energetic walks (if you have a dog that needs to run and play outside), while at the same time keeping you updated and sending you sweet pictures and videos from our day together.
