Hello! My name is Alex, I'm 26, and I'd love to be your next Rover sitter/walker! I currently have about 8 years of animal experience under my belt, working in both pet store and veterinary settings. I love animals of all ages and species, but I have a particularly soft spot for geriatric cats and pocket pets :) no need to worry about food or other supplies running out! I currently work at a two-in-one veterinary clinic/pet store and I wouldn't mind picking up anything your kiddo might need. My day to day routine includes caring for my geriatric kidney cat, my special needs cat, and school when I'm not working. Before returning to the veterinary filed, I was often put in charge of nightly animal care at work. Daily tasks would include spot cleaning the store's animal's habitats, refreshing their food and water, making sure their habitats are safe and secure, and medicating any sick animals residing in the designated sick room. I love caring for and interacting with all animals, from dogs to birds to small animals, even reptiles so long as they don't require live rodent feeding! I can take care of puppies and kittens 6 weeks and older, and I would be happy to administer any oral or injectable, subcutaneous medication they may need.
