Pet care experience
I am 27 years old, and have never lived without at least one dog in my household. On-and-off for 10 years I have worked for a Veterinary hospital starting as a kennel attendant and working my way up to a Veterinary Assistant with a career degree with the same title. Not only do I love dogs, but I know how to spot signs of illness/injury and how to communicate these potential issues to a Veterinarian. I will care for your pets and give you peace of mind while you are away. Our dogs are our family! I am comfortable with administering medications (injections, pills, and ointments) and will comply with any special diet needs. I can't wait to meet new dogs and new dog owners!

I have known Alex most of her life. When she was in high school she had her first job with us working in our veterinary hospital caring for boarding pets. We only hire people who have a special connection with pets. Alex has the ability to make the dogs feel comfortable and loved. She has been trained as a veterinary assistant too, she would be alert to any health issues when caring for your dog. When boarding dogs come in and see Alex, their tail starts wagging and they have no problem saying goodbye to their "family" to spend time with her. Alex will give your pet loving, competent care. We miss her, sorry she moved, but wish her the best at Rover.com.
I've known Alex almost all of our lives and she's always had multiple animals and loved and cared for them like children. She's caring and knowledgable about them, as a lifelong dog owner, and has experience caring for dogs and cats working at a vet's office. She is trustworthy, dependable and honest and I would trust her with any of my animals.
