Pet care experience
Growing up surrounded by dogs, my lifelong passion has been canine companionship. From early puppy training to volunteering with puppy mill dogs at the SPCA to fostering special needs dogs, I’ve cultivated a unique skill set. Whether caring for a blind, seizure-prone, or three-pawed pal, or your average furry bestie, I bring a wealth of experience to ensure every dog’s well-being!
Reviews
Alexandra was great with Romeo. Very communicative and caring of my “son”. Definitely would rebook with her. She was my first booking on Rover and I couldn’t have asked for better!
We left our 2 year old corgi with Alexandra for a week while we were away, and we are absolutely thrilled with the care she provided. She followed all instructions that were given and we got regular text and photo updates which gave us peace of mind. Will definitely be contacting her next time we go on vacation. Thanks, Alexandra!
“I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Alexandra for many years, and I can confidently say that she is one of the most caring, responsible, and attentive individuals I’ve ever met. Alexandra has looked after our dogs multiple times, and each time, she has provided them with the utmost love and care. Her ability to connect with animals and her keen attention to their needs is truly remarkable. What makes Alexandra an awesome human being is not just her dedication to providing great customer service, but also her genuine compassion and empathy for all living beings. She creates a safe and loving environment for pets, ensuring they are happy and healthy in her care. I wholeheartedly recommend Alexandra to anyone seeking a trustworthy and kind-hearted caregiver for their pets.”
I trusted Alexandra with taking care of my dog Puma while I was gone on vacation. Puma instantly felt comfortable in her presence, and Alexandra made sure to take care of his specific needs. I will definitely be contacting her again!

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced courtyard to safely let the dogs out for peeing and play, and gates to put up indoors if they need separating. There is space to accommodate a crate, otherwise we have several comfortable dog beds (and a big comfy couch 🤫). I’m also just down the block from the Louis-Cyr dog park, which we can happily visit for bigger play sessions.

Information Alexandra L. would like to know about your pet
Please do let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviours to accommodate. It’s no problem at all to add more medications to our routine, and we do have experience with toy/food reaction and aggression.
A typical day
The day is full of fun activities here and we love to mix it up! We’ve got TWO baskets of toys, all the treats, bully sticks, and bones you can imagine, and puzzles for mental stimulation. When it comes to the outdoors, we not only have a little courtyard for play sessions, but we also love visiting the Louis-Cyr dog park down the street, taking long walks to explore the canal and the several nearby parks, and sometimes even doing pet-friendly errands in the neighbourhood.

My schedule currently revolves around my dog’s pet care, so adding another pup into the mix is no problem at all. I work from home with a flexible schedule and am therefore easily able to accommodate pee, walk, and park breaks.
