Pet care experience
I have been in the animal care trade for over 20 years and been pet sitting since I was 14 years old. Working in shelters, Vet Clinics, and pet sitting has given me the opportunity to take care of a wide variety of animals. Most notably, I have cared for aging pets, farm animals, and disabled pets and administered multiple types of medication. My goal is to give the best care to every animal I meet.

Alexandra is absolutely fantastic! She took exceptional care of our pups. It’s not uncommon for us to come home to anxious dogs after a trip but our dogs were their normal, excited selves this time around. She went above and beyond to keep them happy and was excellent about communicating with us. I would definitely use her services again and highly recommend her!
Alexandra cared for our 3 cats when we were out of town on numerous occasions. She was very reliable and we trusted her with our 3 cats of which, 2 were on medications. She had past experience working as an animal care technician at an animal shelter so I knew she had a lot of experience with cat care and understanding their needs. This was especially important since we had a crazy Bengal who was very needy and definitely not easy to medicate. If you've ever had a Bengal you know what I'm talking about. Alexandra also cared for many of our neighbors pets. One neighbor had show poodles( 3 toys, 4 minis, and 4 standards). She entrusted Alexandra with their care when she was out of town for shows or on vacation. We definitely miss that she is no longer in our area for pet care.

A typical day
I love to take dogs on long walks if appropriate for the size and energy level. If they have good recall and are good with other dogs I would love to bring them to the dog park if you approve. But I also just like sitting and cuddling when that is what the animal wants to do. I love meeting an animal where there comfort level is and meeting any needs they have.

Availability
I am a stay at home mother right now. So I am free 90% of the time. Other then when I am in car line I am free to take care of your animal. I do not stay overnight due to being a mom. However when you book me for an overnight stay I will stop by your home at least 3 times a day. Stopping by very early in the morning, mid-day, and later at night. I try to stay at least an hour each time.
