Pet care experience
My partner Kyle has raised dogs his whole life. Together, we raised our Border Collie, Buddy, from puppy to 15. Shortly after Buddy passed, we adopted Ruby who is now a year and 8 months. She is a Labradoodle Pointer. With Buddy and Ruby being very active dogs, it definitely suites our life style. We are always out with Ruby, either at Ambleside dog park, swimming in the river or ocean, going for a hike or playing frisbee. We seize every opportunity to take Ruby out and spoil her. We often look after a family members dog when they go away and it makes us and Ruby so happy. We are very fortunate to live in a house with a large backyard that backs up onto a park. Our yard is fenced and there are lots of local trails and parks for on-leash walks or off-leash play time. We are major lovers of all dogs! If you have any questions or inquiries please let us know. Met Alex and Kyle for the first time and we felt comfortable with them right from the get go. We left our little guy with them for about 10 days, not only they kept us up to date daily, they treated him so well , we didn't think our puppy would be coming back home with us! I highly recommend them- iv had experience with other sitters and hands down they are the best!

Ensuring our place is safe for dogs is the most important thing to us. My partner and I are very aware and always err on the side of caution. We always monitor Ruby when she is playing with her toys. Moreover, we keep our place clean and tidy to ensure there are no hazards (small objects, plants that are dangerous for dogs, etc.). Kyle's cousin is a veterinarian and we are very fortunate to have her number in case of any emergency.

We would love to know: behaviour, temperament, are they ok off-leash, how is their recall, do they respond to treats, favourite toys, allergies, favourite spots to be pet.
A typical day
We have a large fenced back yard where we let the dogs play! There are also lots of local trails and parks for on-leash walks or off-leash play time. We love trail running and mountain biking which is perfect for dogs to burn some energy and have fun. Ambleside dog park is our favourite place to take our dog Ruby - this is our go-to! We also have a basket full of dog toys at home that we love bringing out - we have a fun brain game that we always playing with Ruby. Rest assured, your pup will be spoiled with us!

Availability
Both my partner and I are currently working full-time at a rock climbing gym office. We are very fortunate that we are able to bring our dog Ruby to work with us every single day. She spends all day, every day with us. She has a bed at work, her toys and there is even a nice trail out back to go for walks. She gets lots of attention from us and passersby!
