As a life-long animal lover and rescue dog mom, I am extremely passionate about making meaningful impact in the lives of animals. For me, forming connections with our furry friends is a precious joy. Every animal deserves to be treated with kindness, respect, and understanding, and I feel privileged to be able to provide them the care they need. I approach my role with consideration, tolerance, and forgiveness. I understand that each animal has their own personality, quirks, and needs, and I strive to create an environment where they can truly be themselves. Whether it's a high-energy pup who loves to chase balls or a shy and reserved dog who prefers gentle walks, I adapt my approach to ensure their comfort and enjoyment. I have 20+ years experience caring for cats, dogs and rabbits and look forward to many more!

Safety is always my top priority. I am focused on: 1. Creating and maintaining safe and secure environments - including safe entry and exit of your home. 2. Checking leashes, harnesses and collars for proper security and functionality before, during and after walks. 3. Maintaining awareness of surroundings on walks and keeping a safe distance from potential dangers and all other animals. (Due to the increased risk of injury at and around dog parks, I do not take clients dogs to these areas.) 4. Maintaining your pets established routines and adhering strictly to provided care instructions. and 5. Immediately communicating all concerns and needs. Once these safety protocols are in place, I can focus on making sure your best friend has a great time while in my care.

As safety is my number one priority, it is vital to know about any allergies, dietary restrictions and some health issues that will effect their care. It may also be important to let me know of any behavioral concerns that influence how I should engage with their environment- whether that be your pup loving to dig through the trash or being prone to excitedly darting out the door when given the chance. It is helpful to understand your dog’s personality and any specific likes or dislikes they have so that I can make sure they are as happy and comfortable as possible in my care.
A typical day
I am active and can meet your dog where he/she is in energy and enthusiasm to move around. We can have a casual stroll and focus on sniffing, take a long hike, play fetch, or go for a run- whatever your dog might be up for.

I work from home, have very flexible availability and can provide care and attention throughout the day as needed. I work weekdays and weekends caring for animals.
