I moved out to North Carolina earlier this year. I'm looking to pet sit for the fun of hanging out and getting to explore the area with some fuzzy new friends. I grew up in Iowa with large dogs all my life, Newfoundland, Golden Retriever, and currently my parents have an Australian Shepard, Tripp, who's name couldn't better suit him. I've definitely learned that all breeds have very specific inherited characteristics but all dogs have their own unique personality. Cats on the other hand, I usually just jive with. I just understand their introverted chaos. I don't have any dogs right now (as my prior job just didn't allow the time for one) but I've shared my home with many cats over that past 10yrs. Currently it's just me, my husband Larry, and Woody, our 12yr old Blue Point Tabby, but he likes to act like a siamese. I'm comfortable sitting for puppies and kittens to senior cats and dogs. I'm also familiar with administering medicine as needed, with the exception of any injection medication. Mostly I love animals and like to have fun and connect with them. Rest assured, your fur baby will be in good and loving hands.
