It's simple, be kind and love dogs.
Pet care experience
When I was 5 years old, my uncle gave me a book to teach me all about dogs. We would go over all the tricks with his pups and my love for dogs grew. Since that day, I've had over 20 years of experience raising and training dogs. Different sizes, ages, personalities, needs, etc. I love taking dogs hiking, walking, swimming, playing fetch, and relaxing on the couch. I understand pets need patience and can guarantee your pet will be in good hands. I'm very flexible with scheduling as long as proper communication is conducted. I've raised dogs from ages: 8weeks-senior(15yo). I am quite adaptable to each pet's needs as long as you give clear instructions, if necessary. Happy dogs and cats warm my heart, so I care for each one as if they were my own. P.s. I also know how it feels leaving your pet with someone unfamiliar, and I'm here for the anxious pet parents too! I am happy to set up meet and greets with you and your pet. For Boarding and Daycare services: Please note, I have one dog Abby. She is medium sized, 8 years old, and grew up with a senior black lab family dog. If your pet does not get along with other animals, my home can be set up to keep the pets separate.
Reviews
Alex stayed on top of the visit and had some good advice for a training issue.
Alexandra was so good with our dog Bella. She made Bella feel right at home. Bella got plenty of outside time and we also received lots of pictures throughout the day. Bella will be back for sure ? Thank you Alexandra!
Alexandra is the biggest animal lover I know! She is great with dogs of all sizes, she grew up with a lab as well as other pets! She is always looking for ways to give back to animal shelters/ charities and I know your fur babies will quickly be a part of Alex’s family as well! She will treat them just like her own, and don’t worry plenty of pictures will be provided!!
Alex is an amazing dog walker, and I highly recommend her to anyone in the greater TAMPA area. Twice a week when I am away Alex comes by and takes my little chip for a walk. Chip is always so excited when Alex comes by which is an attestment to the attention she give him. Alex is also good with all breeds of dogs.

I have a big fenced yard where your dog can use the restroom or we can go on walks. I love taking dogs to the park, on hikes, to the beach, or any activities relative to nature. I also have a larger home where we can still play games inside. If a dog is still undergoing training, I have plenty of space to set up separate areas where they wouldn't chew furniture. I love spoiling dogs with treats and toys, but if you have a strict diet for your dog, I will happily adjust accordingly. I have all types of leashes for dog walks, but I do ask you to provide items your pet is comfortable with - harness/collar/leash/food bowls/etc. It helps to have items that make them feel at home or as if they are on their normal walk. More can be discussed internally.

A typical day
Below are typical activities I tend to do for each type of pet. High energy - indoor training games (during poor weather) - fetch in full fenced backyard - walks/hikes in the neighborhood, local parks, Hillsborough state park - doggy push ups -- easy training technique where I teach the dog to stand then sit then laydown and then pop back up again, repeat. (good for indoor activities during poor weather) Low energy pet - lots of couches to hang out on - snuggles and pets - walks (slow and patient if needed) - hangout in the fenced backyard in the sun or shade Medium energy - mix of above
