Hi, I'm Alex! I have a decade of professional experience in the pet industry: boarding/daycare, retail, veterinary, and training; not to mention 13 years of personal experience owning and caring for pets. As a kid, my favorite book was my dog breed encyclopedia. You could say I was obsessed (and let's face it, not much has changed)! I am now a full-time Paralegal; but I currently work from home most of the time, and would love nothing more than to spend my lunch breaks or evenings with your pets! I have experience with big dogs, small dogs, old dogs, puppies, dogs who require extra special medical attention, dogs who are on the naughty side...I love ALL dogs from Pitbulls to Pomeranians, and I can't wait to meet yours :) **I am vaccinated against covid and will happily wear a mask in your home if it makes you more comfortable. Please just let me know!

Alex is a wonderful person who takes time to get to know your dogs and understand their personalities. She is very responsible and will follow any instructions that you have. My dogs loved having her stay at our house and I did not have any worries. I know that she loves and cares for every dog as if they were her very own!
Alex is seriously the best! We have a psycho, two year old German Shepherd, and she handles him PERFECTLY. She is definitely one of his favorite humans! Ever since he was 3 months old, Alex is my go to person for all my dog related questions, concerns, and frustrations. Her experience with training dogs has made her so knowledgeable. I literally won't trust anyone else but her to care for my fur-monster.
I met Alex when we worked at a dog daycare/boarding facility together. She taught me everything I know about dogs! She’s incredibly knowledgeable about dog behaviors and has always been my go to for advice. Alex is very caring and sweet as well. She’s an attentive worker, and I trust her 100% with my own dog!

I love to play, wrestle and cuddle up with the social pets, but am happy to go slow and ease into my friendships with the shy ones. I also carry a first aid kit in my car at all times, stocked with everything I might need in case of emergency for both dogs and humans.

A typical day
I love an adventure! I like to keep my walking routes fun and interesting so your dog gets maximum stimulation from each visit. Dogs experience most of the world through smell, so I like to go at their pace and let them take it all in! When we’re at home, I will get my steps in running around the yard with them, play with toys, or curl up on the couch with them if that’s more their speed.

Availability
With my current work schedule, I have a lot of flexibility. I have time before and after work as well as on my lunch break to stop by and care for your animals. Unfortunately, I am unable to offer pet sitting or boarding services at this time.
