I’ve lived in the Sacramento County area for a little over 2 years now. My schedule is very flexible because I am a fitness instructor, and Real Estate Agent so I have availability almost everyday to watch, drop in, or walk your pet. I love and care about all animals, and will always treat them like they are my own! I have experience taking care of puppies to geriatric dogs, kittens to geriatric cats, hamsters, rats, and fish. I have limited experience with birds and reptiles, but I still enjoy taking care of them! I am very easygoing, reliable, punctual and trustworthy. I have had a pet in my home since the very first day I came home from the hospital, so over 29 years of loving and caring for dogs and cats. I enjoy taking dogs for walks, playing with their favorite toys, cuddling on the couch, giving long belly rubs, and even love teaching dogs new tricks and if needed can help with potty training your pups. I love to watch cats play and become mischievous hunters, and provide all the chin and butt scratches they want. I also enjoy taking dogs for car rides, because our fur babies love those car rides, and I have a full seatbelt system in my car to ensure their safety! I went to UC Davis and graduated Magna Cum Laude with my Bachelor's degree in Animal Science with a specialization in Captive and Companion Animals. My animal focused education provides you extra piece of mind that your babies are truly in good hands! I also unfortunately have experience making life saving decisions for pet owners who could not be reached when their dog had a medical emergency, so you can rest assured that I will do anything and everything I can to provide the best care for your pet. Also, there will be an additional fee to cover gas and mileage when traveling further than 10 miles one way from my home base in Antelope but we can discuss before booking. I also have experience with animal physiology so I can recognize warning signs of distress much more quickly than the average person, and will act swiftly to take care of your pet if an emergency situation arouse.

I usually request you let me know what the best situation for your animal, their routine and comfort zone. Also, unless you ask me to, I will not go to dog parks, as other dogs can be unpredictable and the safety of your pet is my main concern at all times. I would love to know if your dog is dog aggressive and/or people aggressive before I arrive. I would also love to know if your dog is special needs before I arrive. I am more than willing to accommodate all their needs! Same thing for cats! It’s imperative to me that they feel comfortable and can stick to their routine even while you are away!
A typical day
I love to stimulate your dogs physically and mentally. We'll play games, check out the neighborhood smells, and go to any nearby parks. We will stick to secure walking paths at all times, and free playtime with a ball or their favorite toy in enclosed parks or your backyard as well! They will also get lots of belly rubs if they're more of the stay at home type! As for kitties, if they love to play I am all game! We will play with their favorite toys and they will get lots of chin scratches and cuddles, if they’re the cuddly type!

Availability
I am a fitness instructor and Real Estate Agent so my schedule varies. Everyday is different time wise but I have hours of availability each day! I am extremely active, so big walks or multiple walks a day are no problem!
