Hello! My name is Allie and I love animals! I have lots of experience caring for pets and plenty of references available upon request! I have a one year old lab who loves playing with other dogs, he is the sweetest most gentle pup. I am a chemist who works nights so I am home all day and will have plenty of time, attention, and love to give to your pets! My fiancé is a student at OSU and so there will always be someone there with your baby!

Allie was wonderful with our pup, Ivy! She was attentive to details, went the extra mile to make sure our dog and hers got acquainted smoothly, and gave us tons of updates while we were gone for the day. We'll definitely be asking for Allie to watch our pup again!

We have many grassy areas outside our doorstep to play and roam! I am aware of emergency vet hospitals nearby in case of an emergency and my house has been “dog proofed” to prevent any possibly destructive tendencies.

Let me know if you have any questions or concerns or special needs for your pup! I am happy to meet in person before accepting requests if desired! If the request is for a dog, please answer these questions: 1. Is your dog friendly with unfamiliar dogs? 2. Does your dog display any aggressive behavior towards other dogs or people? 3. *** Is your dog crate trained? Does your dog respect boundaries (gates, playpens, etc) so I can close off areas of my home? More important for boarding requests, not relevant for daycare. *** 4. Is it ok for me to give your dog a bath after a muddy outing? 5. In a trail / off-leash park setting (away from any roads) are you ok with me letting your dog off leash or would you prefer they remain on leash? ***This is ESSENTIAL so I can keep your dog and my property safe if I need to leave my house (this is NOT for long periods of time, but rather for errands like grocery shopping and the gym ~1-2 hour outings). Unfortunately, after a negative experience, I can no longer accept requests for dogs who cannot be left alone without being destructive and/or noisy. Thank you for understanding.

Availability
I have the patience and compassion to nurture any dog or cat. As a dog mom myself I understand how difficult it can be to trust that someone is taking good care of your pets, I assure you that I treat all my furry clients like my own pup (and send lots of pictures and videos so you can see their adorable faces while you’re away or working!) I have seven years experience working in veterinary and wildlife hospitals, including emergency veterinary care, so your pet will be in capable hands with me. I am a strong believer in giving dogs and cats the best life possible, I prioritize including fun activities in my dog’s life everyday. Our favorite places are MLK park, Woodland Meadow park, and the amazing variety of hikes nearby (Chip Ross is one of Loki’s favorites)! If your dog is more of a leisurely walk kinda guy or gal I’ve got plenty of walking routes too! If you have any questions for me let me know! I look forward to hearing from you and spoiling your fur baby while you’re away!
