I helped take care of my own beloved cat MayMay growing up, as well as guinea pigs, hermit crabs, a crayfish, and assorted fish! I have helped with remedies/medications, even for my betta fish. I also worked at Hidden Pond Nature Center for 3 years, including the care of frogs, turtles, salamanders, and snakes (including bathing!). While working in DC, I started caring for my friend's sweet cat Sylvester while she was on trips - he has anxiety and requires crushed up medications and extra attention. I also stayed at her place for a week to take care of him. Currently, I have 3 goldfish named Ok, Tober, and Fest who are nearly 4 years old. I absolutely love animals with a particular fondness for cats, love spending time with them, and am very invested in their care. I am also generally a devoted, detail-oriented and experienced caregiver, having been my grandma's primary caregiver (including coordination of intensive healthcare) for months this year.
