Pet care experience
I’ve been taking care of animals on the side for loved ones for the last 10 years. Pre-COVID, I was a preschool teacher, and then I met my husband and we moved to Honolulu for his military career. We have an 8 month-old terrier mix named Max who adores other dogs and chasing tennis balls at the dog park. I have a giant heart for animals and would love to help you give your dog the exercise and attention they need while you’re busy. My husband and I treat our dog like we would a child, with plenty of love and boundaries. When your pet is with me, you can rest assured he/she will be loved and cared for as if they were my own.

Alexandra is a kind and loving Petsitter. My dog is very apprehensive about new people in her space however Alexandra was able to win her over and gain her trust. She was also very patient with our cats who like to hide when new people come over. Alexandra has always treated our home like it is her own and I never have to worry if things are being taken care of when she is our Petsitter. I would highly recommend Alexandra!
Alex is amazing with my dogs. I never have to worry if they are being loved on or looked after. She truly has a way with them. She is so kind with her handling and communication. I would 1000% recommend her any time.
Alex is the ultimate animal lover! Rest assured, she will take good care of your pet including lots of snuggles and love. When she housesat for us, she slept on the floor to snuggle with our dog because he's not allowed on the furniture. I would hire her in a heartbeat if she was still in my area.
Alex is flexible, sweet, responsive, and overall so wonderful to work with! She took amazing care of our cat and home while we were away. She sent updates and photos and it was obvious our kitty was in good hands. Our cat usually hides from visitors but now runs out to see his new best friend Alex whenever she visits. I highly recommend her!

We live in an apartment so I am extremely purposeful with taking dogs outside for 15 minute potty breaks every two hours. My home is relatively small, but it is very pet friendly. We have an abundance of dog toys, treats and beds so they will feel right at home. My dog loves having other dogs over to play with and snuggle up next to.

A typical day
If the dogs I’m watching are social, I love taking them to the Forest City Dog Park and playing fetch with them. There is a wonderful 1 mile loop in the Red Hill military neighborhood that I take dogs to walk on regularly. One of our family’s favorite things to do together is take our dog to Kailua Beach Park and let him dig in the sand.
