Pet care experience
I’ve been taking care of pets my whole life! My family has always had dogs growing up (specifically labs) and it’s been a joy taking care of them. I have one dog: an anxious senior mutt named Daphne. She’s the love of my life, although I do tend to think of every pet as the love of my life. I hope that by doing this Daphne can have the chance to make more friends! I’ve pet-sat for various cats and dogs over the years, doing everything from keeping cats company and walking extremely energetic australian shepherds.

Safety, trust & environment
If your dog stays with me, he/she won’t be lonely! My dog Daphne will keep them company! I live on the 3rd floor of an apartment complex and have a porch. I take the dogs to the bathroom by walking them down the stairs and around my dog-friendly complex.

Information Alexandra F. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your dog has any special needs beforehand! It’s also helpful to know if they’re reactive around certain people or dogs. This helps me to keep everyone safe!
A typical day
On a typical day I get up and take Daphne for a walk. We try to walk for about 30 minutes. Sometimes we’ll go to the dog park. Then we have a midday potty break as well as an evening potty break, each complete with a walk depending on the dogs’ energy levels.

Availability
I work as a teaching assistant, but when I’m not on campus I’m often at home. I have a busy, but very flexible schedule that can allow me to walk and check in on all kinds of pets!
