Alexandra was great. She took care of our young newfoundland and two cats in our house and gave them plenty of attention. We were looking for someone who understood giant breed dogs that we could trust handling our dog, and Alexandra fit the bill! House was perfectly as we left it when we returned.
Wonderful experience. Our caregiver was punctual, flexible and great with our chihuahua Sophie!
Alex is a lover of all animals and will provide your pup with all the love and care that he/she needs. I've known Alex for over five years now and she was always there to help me with my dog, Wally. She is a wonderful pet momma and will extend all of that to your fur baby. Alex is super organized and responsible and will only commit to something that she knows she can dedicate her time and effort to. You and your pup will be in great hands with her!

I am comfortable with administering medication (orally, IV, IM, subcutaneously, dermally, rectally). I know how to use, clean and care for feeding tubes including ones with entry through the nose or directly into the stomach. I am also comfortable with catheters and pretty much any medical device. I can handle pets with broken bones, joint issues and heart conditions very well. I could pick up my big boy, so I can carry/transport senior dogs and ill dogs easily.

I am okay with just about anything, I just want a full heads up so I know what to expect. I have handled puppies with active worm disease while dog sitting and didn't mind at all. I just want to make sure I know any possible issues. This keeps stress to a minimum for you, your pet and myself.
A typical day
The choice is yours! I have easy access to Byrd Park, Texas Beach, but will travel to any preferred dog park in my area as well. Also willing to drive out further for an extended hike or walk. We can walk, run, hike, play, train or lay around in the house. I have a backyard as well with a decent length run and area for fetch and exploring.

Availability
I rescued a Great Dane/Mastiff in 2014 who passed in 2019 due to a rare autoimmune disease. I used Rover often and know what it is like to not get any photos or know if my sitter is putting my dog into situations I wouldn't want. I am very comfortable with giant breed dogs, dogs with anxiety issues, dog aggressive or leash aggressive dogs. I also have lived with or taken care of a wide range of dogs from a 10lb terrier to golden retrievers that want to run all day.
