We usually let them be in the sofa and our bed. I will usually take the dog for at walk in the morning, midday and during the afternoon. In the building there is a dog relief area, so I will take them there before going to sleep.

Since I can remember I’m a dog lover. I used to live with three dogs in Colombia. A 17 years old poodle (Coqui), a 10 years old beagle (Hanna) and a 4 years old shitzu (Martina). My mom gave me Coqui when I was 9 years old, he is my love and my best friend. Unfortunately when I moved to USA the vet’s recommendation was to leave him in Colombia. It broke my heart and I can definitely tell that I miss having dog in my life. I have been through every hard situation that could possibly happen with a dog. Since taking them to the emergency room when it is necessary, given them special food or medication, given them a bath, teaching them how to have a good behavior at home and with other dogs. With three dogs at home I had a lot fun, but also I learnt the big responsibility that is having a dog means. They are part of the family and taking care of them is as important as taking care of any family member.

Alexandra is a lovely lady and a wonderful dog sitter! Her communication and responsiveness is exactly what you want as a pet parent. Our pup took to her instantly and had no hesitation as they walked away from us to begin their ‘play date’. Alexandra’s pup Loki was very welcoming as well, and the two of them played like besties right away. I greatly appreciated all of Alexandra’s texts, videos and pics which completely reassured me that Cesca was in great care and having a terrific time. Both pups had such happy faces… that says it all!!
Alexandra was amazing! She took excellent care of our dog, and provided regular updates and photos, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. Our dog seemed so happy and well cared for when we returned. We highly recommend Alexandra to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!

Alexandra is the best! She goes above and beyond to make my sweet shitzu feel at home and gives me peace of mind when we can’t bring our fur baby with us. She’s communicative, provides updates, and my dog loves staying with her.
