Hi there! I’m Alex! I’ve had pets ever since I was 8 years old with my golden retriever, Peaches. I love dogs AND cats and love to help take care of your pets if you’re working late, have an out of town Work trip, or more! I love staying active so taking dogs out on a nice brisk walk is always super fun! Or I love staying in and making sure your cat stays out of trouble by giving lots of playtime or company! I can administer pills, drops, or general meds to your pet, as I’m used to it with my cat and dogs being on meds for ages but cannot do injections. I grew up loving on pets and want to give you the peace of mind that your family member is well cared for!

I always ensure that areas where pets are staying are in good shape on entering the home and exiting. Double checking crates, doors, or any other external factors that could pose as a risk to your pet I will make sure is eliminated as needed. I also do a quick walk through of pet areas to ensure that if your pet has any accidents, that they’re cleaned up so you can focus on playtime with your pet when you get home! A huge thing for me is respecting your pets boundaries and making sure I’m coming into their environment in a way that creates the least amount of stress for them.

A typical day
Each animal is so different! We can go on adventures at dog parks, walking paths, or anywhere in between, or we can do a chill cuddles and movie night and lots of home play time in between.

Availability
I work a full time job so if you’re looking for someone to be the daily dog walker, I might not be the best fit for you! I can do drop ins before or after work and sometimes in between if I plan in advance. My schedule is flexible so if you need a vacation sitter I’m perfect for the job! I’m available most nights/weekends with great flexibility throughout the week so you can have peace of mind while on your summer vacation!
