Long walks, cosy cuddles & waggy tails guaranteed!

Pet care experience

I have grown up with family dogs throughout my life and my husband and I have cared for our own dogs since the age of 21. We currently have one very friendly dog at home called Penny who will love the companionship and play time. Our dogs have always been treated like one of the family and yours will too! To be clear, I will be the main carer of your dog and my husband might assist on occasion. I walk my own dog three times a day (morning, midday and evening) on days I work from home and our weekends are dog orientated using our local park (Wrenthorpe) and using the green outside the front of our house. On weekends we like to do longer walks when possible, exploring nee places. In one of our pictures, you can see our house in the background and the green which we are standing on ... a stones throw away! We have a fully fenced garden which our dog is not able to venture out from and the house will be fully open to your dogs. We are more than happy to keep your dog on a lead, long lead or running free during our walks. I usually work one week in the office and one week at home but am able to swap shifts round potentially to meet all of your doggy needs. Please just enquire and I will hopefully be able to make things work for everyone. I have a fully fenced garden and one friendly dog to keep your loved one safe. We will always endeavour to do an initial meet and greet at a neutral venue or the green in front of our house to ensure compatibility.

So friendly and welcoming! Really put me at ease leaving Alfie! Could’ve have asked for a better couple to look after him for the night whilst we were out of town.

Although we have had dogs for years we have never needed someone out of the family to look after one of them but with our sons wedding coming up we needed to find someone to look after Marley, our 2year old Labradoodle. We looked at a number of Reviews but as soon as we read Alexandres she sounded great. We dropped Marley off and a few hours later we received a message saying that Marley had been for a walk and had settled well which immediately put my mind at ease. The next day we received photos and an update of what she was doing and this included long walks which she loves and playing with the family dog then a nap. The following day we arranged to pick Marley and when Martin arrived to collect her she was ready but not in any rush to leave. We would definitely ask Alexandre to have Marley again as we know that she would be safe and happy x

Absolutely love them looking after my dog Dottie. First time she’s stayed and was truly in great hand. Will definitely use them again. ?
