Pet care experience
I love and value being active, enjoying life, and experiencing the outdoors. I believe a dog brings joy to that experience, and they too need love, care, exercise, and attention. I have grown up with dogs, of all sizes my entire life, and I understand the responsibility and time it takes into being a good dog owner. I have trained dogs, and I have cared for other people's dogs for an extended period of time when those owner's are out of town. I have recently relocated to Denver from Flagstaff, AZ, and my availability is high and flexible, as I am only working a part time job at a retail store a couple times a week. I'm very excited to meet my new doggie pals!

I came to Rover at the last minute, desperate to find an alternative to boarding our dog because the facility we had chosen stressed him out too much. I was nervous about a stranger being responsible for our dog's well-being, but after a few seconds of meeting Alex and seeing her interact with our dog, I knew we had gotten very lucky. She took excellent care of our 75lb boy who is strong, playful and energetic- and she did it with love. Alex sent daily updates and photos and on the last day of our trip when we missed our flight due to car trouble, she relieved a lot of stress by going to the house that night and making sure he was fed and let out. I'd recommend her to anyone. Thank you so much, Alex!
Alex was dependable and wonderful with our dog Lola! She’s an excellent communicator who sent updates regularly, which made it possible for us to have a worry free vacation. In addition to providing wonderful care for our dog, she also kept my plants watered for me. I highly recommend Alex, and will be requesting her help again in the future!

Alex is PHENOMENAL with dogs. My energetic Australian Shepherd puppy and I had the privilege of living with Alex for over a year. She truly became my furkid's second dog mom - loving her and playing with her everyday; and taking care of her whenever I was gone on trips (which was quite frequent). I cannot recommend a better, more trustworthy person to leave your dog with (or to have as a friend!). To say we miss having her as a part of our daily lives since she moved to a different state is a massive understatement.
