Pet care experience
My mother runs her own pet care business, Affordable Pet Sitting, and I have been walking and caring for animals of all kinds for many years now. I grew up with my own dogs and cats and am a huge pet lover, and currently, have a rescue American pit bull terrier. With that being said, I have a huge soft spot for dogs of the bully breeds! I'm experienced with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments, and will play and run around with your pet and give them plenty of love, and will follow any training routines that you may or may not have in place for your pooch. Just as well, if your beloved pup needs any special accommodations, you can rely on me. I am very flexible with cancellations (I know — life happens!) and will clean up any messes your pet leaves behind. I would love to help you with all of your pet care needs!

Alexandra was able to meet up and agree to walk Zeke on short notice. Zeke was very happy on his walks, and Alexandra always kept me informed on how he did.

Alexandra did a outstanding job taking care of my two huge, strong dogs. I could tell that she loves animals from the first time she came to meet the boys. I left exact directions, which she followed exactly and was always in contact with me while I was away. This was my very first experience of leaving my "children" at home. I was very anxious about leaving them, but I had to go to my Goddaughters wedding and I did not know what to do. I tried interviewing a number of people (outside of Rover.com) and I was just not happy with any of them. When I read Alexandra's resume, she sounded wonderful. I was also very pleased that she lives in the same town as I do so it would not be too far for the morning visits. I would highly, highly recommend Alexandra for pet sitting. She is responsible, caring and a devoted person who just loves animals. I will definitely call on Alexandra again in the future.

I would like to know the dog's basic personality traits (if I should expect separation anxiety, aggression, and so on), if I should prepare for special needs, and anything similar. I have no breed preferences, and will not turn away a dog of any breed. (I do especially love the "bully" breeds, though!)
A typical day
When we walk, we will have plenty of sniffing time (while staying away from someone else's business), and explore the neighborhood together. We could stop at nearby parks, if possible, and have a look around while on-leash the entire time. We will also play with toys when we're in the house and can take a run, if you'd like!
