Hello my name is Alexandra and ive been in the pet industry for 10 years. I began my journey with Doggie daycares, then started walking dogs for different companies. My last job I worked at a training facility for dogs who were aggressive and had multiple bite histories. It was a last resort placement for these pups because if they didnt get bettet they would be put to sleep. It was a very important and rewarding job to work there. I was trained in the area of postive reinforcement. I also had a dog behaviorist train me in the area of touch reinforcement along with leash corrections. Ive done puppy raising. Which is where normally the dog will stay with me for a week and I either potty train or teach basic commands. Altogether ive worked with a ton of great dogs, some handicap(Blind or deaf), aggressive, insulin dependant dogs, leash reactive; but safety was always my main focus and concern. If your dog needs help with certain behaviors Id be willing to help. Im not certified as a dog trainer yet but still have a lot of experience in the field .Im currently taking dog training courses. I have a pet certified cpr certificate. Originally I was headed towards nursing school. I come from a family of doctors. At the last minute I decided to switch careers because of my strong passion for animals.Thank you for taking the time to read.
