Pet care experience
Hello! I’ve been taking care of animals ever since I was a kid and, having grown up on a farm, I am comfortable with animals of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. Not only do I have personal experience but I also have professional experience as I have worked as a vet tech during school breaks for the past two years now. It is such satisfying work to be able to work with animals. The love you give them is only multiplied when it’s returned! I’m not only knowledgeable and trustworthy, but enthusiastic about animals, specifically dogs, because I have a dog myself. My Great Dane, Duke, is easily the best part of my day and I love him dearly. Being a student and a dog mom, I am respectful of your time while caring for your pet as responsibly and lovingly as if s/he were my own.

I fully believe that dogs are the happiest when they have consistency and would love to continue whatever routine you have found works best for you and your fur baby. I have found the best walk routine for me and Duke is typically encouraging him to sniff and play outside for ten minutes before transitioning into a walk. However, dogs come in all shapes, sizes, and ages and as a result their routine varies accordingly and I am more than happy to learn what you do with your pup.

It is important for me to know how your dog does with people, children, and other dogs so I can be aware of how to make sure your dog is comfortable on walks. If there is anything that may trigger a reactive behavior please let me know so that I can be prepared and we can have a wonderful time together! Please also inform me if your fur baby has any special needs or needs medicine administered and I would be happy to accommodate.
A typical day
I love to exercise dogs physically AND mentally. My favorite place to take dogs is the grassy area of Agriculture Mall at Purdue! It’s perfect for sniffing, playing fetch, or working on brains games!

Availability
I’m a student at Purdue who took this semester to work so I can continue my education in January, 2023. That being said, I am relatively flexible in my scheduling but am normally available in the mornings, evenings, and weekends.
