Alex looked after our two bengal cats and two mixed breed rescue dogs for 2 weeks. Our doggies absolutely loved her and Alex took them out in her car all over the place for new daily adventures, which they absolutely loved. Alex took them to the parks, beaches and National park and many other places for daily walks. They were both visibly depressed for a couple of days after she left and have missed her terribly. She brought them lots of nice treats and left a couple of bags for them after she left. The cats are outside a lot of the time as they are both hunters but I could see that she had looked after them very well. Alex left the house spotlessly clean and sheets and towels had been laundered. Thank you Alex for looking after all of our precious fur babies so very well and giving them all lots of love and adventures. We would not hesitate in recommending Alex to any other pet owners and we have already booked her again for next year.

This 2 week house and dog sit did not go as hoped or planned for despite 2 meet and greets and me leaving a comprehensive summary of my dogs' routine and the schedule they are used to. We have one outstanding issue to resolve and are working to sort that out between us and avoid me calling on the Rover.com guarantee. For the amount we paid to Rover - £1178 - I feel we were not Alex's priority more that we were fitted around her own schedule and commitments. In particular asking to be here at set times was disregarded from day 1. That caused me a huge amount of distress and I had to message repeatedly to check all was as expected. I received one photo of the dogs in 2 weeks. I never wanted to be bombarded but one glimpse of how they were was insufficient. Alex was flexible in moving the last day of the sit to a different slot as my plans changed but the timing issues were there again both of arrival and when the dogs needed to be walked and fed. This was my first experience of using a Rover approved house and dog sitter. I've learned alot.
