Pet care experience
I love animals and have taken care of dogs and cats since childhood. I currently have two cats. I also had a standard poodle for eleven years—he recently passed due to cancer, and I'm missing walks and quality time with him. I want to be able to apply that same love and care I had for him toward taking care of your pets. I have experience with all kinds of dogs and cats, from young, high-energy puppies and kittens to senior animals who may need special care and attention. I also have experience administering medication, oral and injected, to both cats and dogs. I work a fully remote job, so have a very flexible schedule. Although I can't host your pets in my own home due to my cats, I'm happy to work with you on any other walking/visiting/sitting scenario to best suit your needs. If you'd like me to stay overnight with your pet(s), I will be attentive to all your household guidelines and ensure your loved ones are very comfortable with my presence. Alexandra is a very caring and responsible dog walker and pet sitter. She walked my dog (and house sat) while I was out of town. My pup has a few quirks (not a great walker, leash reactive, specific guidelines re: food) and Alexandra respected the instructions and was a great communicator providing updates and photos. My mind was at ease knowing Alexandra was with my pet!
Alexandra house-sat, and dog-sat for my active border collie pup while my wife and I were on our honeymoon. Alexandra is super responsible, conscientious, and caring, and truly loves animals. We received lots of photos and updates, and my dog was so happy and cared for when we got back. On top of it, Alexandra took such great care of our house (I think it was cleaner when we got home than when we left). We would absolutely use Alexandra again for dog walks or pet sitting! We highly recommend!

A typical day
I'd love to take your dog on long walks in your neighborhood or places where they feel comfortable. I also have a car and can take your dog to an off-leash dog park and/or on hikes on trails, if you like! If I'm in your home, I will give the dog potty breaks at least every four hours or however frequently you let me know your dog needs. My goal is to give your dog lots of love and to follow your guidelines on their preferences and needs.

I currently work a remote job from home and have a very flexible schedule to walk and visit pets throughout the week. I'm also happy to stay at your place, working alongside them and catering to their schedules.
