I've had several of my own pets, from cats and dogs, to guinea pigs, to fish. I find it very easy to connect with animals (often easier than with people!). I have experience with dogs of all sizes. My own dog was a golden retriever, but I've also dealt with even bigger dogs, such as Great Danes, and a variety of sizes in between, down to tiny Chihuahuas! I like to work on basic walking etiquette with dogs, such as heel, and learning to stop when I do, but I'm not too strict during the process. I know that dogs often learn at the speed of young children, and patience pays off. I currently have my own cat, so I love to do house visits for cats as well! I take Covid-19 and the pandemic very seriously, so I am avoiding public transit currently and biking everywhere. I have received my first vaccination and my second one is scheduled for July, and I am fine to wear my mask the whole time I’m in your home if that makes you more comfortable! I enjoy spending time with animals, and started doing this job primarily for the love of it. I took some time off because I got a different job and then the pandemic happened, but I am ready to get back to work on Rover!
