Hello there!! My name is Alex and I would love to help walk your dog and more! While I have never worked professionally in animal care I do have previous experience as a dog walker/sitter and I have spent the majority of my life surrounded by various dogs, cats, and horses. I currently have a 3 year old rescue pitbull/boxer mix who I love to take on adventures around Washington. I was raised with a German Shepherd black lab mix, and spent most of my childhood at horse barns where there would be a variety of dogs and cats running around. Most recently I lived with both a weimaraner and an bull dog. While in Corvallis, Oregon I would also pet sit for a family who owned a Chihuaha while they were on extended trips. I have spent time with dogs and cats both old and young, in good and declining health. I am energetic, enthusiastic, reliable, organized, and ready to work! I look forward to hearing from you.

Alexandra was a FANTASTIC kitty sitter! She was so sweet and attentive. And punctual! My kitty threw up on a white blanket and shirt next to it (of course!) She cleaned the whole stain and the shirt! And left me detailed messages with hopes she removed all stains permanently, which she did. Above and beyond! I highly recommend her and will use her again the next time I leave town :) Thanks again, Alexandra!

We have just recently moved to Seattle, and Alex was a tremendous help to us as we settled in to a new apartment with our two bulldogs. She came by for drop-in visits, giving the dogs a bathroom break and administering medication for us. Despite all the change the dogs endured, we came home to very relaxed puppers because of Alex's care. Our dogs are true extroverts and often overexcited by social situations, but Alex kept them in line and we could tell they enjoyed her visits -- we came home each time to mellow, happy dogs. She also worked with us to make sure one of our dogs got his medication within a rather specific timeframe, another huge relief to us. Alex is awesome and I would definitely rebook future visits!
Alex took great care of my cats! She helped with giving my diabetic cat shots, and was willing to stick to her feeding schedule. They both were happy when I got back!
