Pet care experience
I have cared for pitbulls, american bulldogs, boxers and dobermans growing up. I would have a dog of my own but right now I'm a graduate student at Rutgers and travel too often. Luckily, my schedule is very flexible making it great to take care of someone else's dogs for a set amount of time! I have a lot of experience in training, specialty collars and even dog psychology for traumatized rescue dogs. I have learned situational strategies for dogs that aren't good with other dogs, what to do when off-leash dogs approach and walking some pretty large dogs! If you're currently in training, I have skills to practice anything from "sit" to "search and find" with your puppy. Since I can't have my own, I look forward to getting to spend quality time with your dog!

Alexandra walked my dog Sunny for about 8 months and it was an absolute joy for us and our dog. She was not only excellent with handling our dog, but she consistently went above and beyond our expectations. I always looked forward to reading the walk summaries and viewing all of the pictures she took of my dog. She somehow managed to come up with something different to write about each time. I cannot recommend Alexandra enough!
Alex was wonderful! She was very attentive to my dogs and their needs. One is a senior and is blind in his old age, hard of hearing, and very wary of new people. She was so patient with him, and was able to handle him just like we do within hours which also made me feel really comfortable leaving him with her. And she played and tired my other dog out who is higher in energy. She sent updates and pictures constantly, she was great!
She is the best! My dog, Orshie had a good time with her. Alexandra took great care of her the hole time. I would assure everybody that she is a good dog siter.
Alex is amazing. She cared for my dog like her own. She had her overnight for two days and sent me updates with pictures and videos. My dog is so happy to come stay with Alex. She took her for walks, brought her to the park and set her up with some treats/toys. My dog is not an easy dog to walk - she’s not dog friendly and Alex handled her better than I did when we went for a walk. She really knows what she’s doing and you can tell she loves animals. Your dog would be lucky to spend the day with her.
