Boarding play-pals for my dog Mabel

My girlfriend, my dog and I live in a house with a large fenced in yard. I've had my dog Mabel for about a year, but my family has had dogs ever since I was young. I walk her for about three miles a day on Sligo Creek, and I take her almost everywhere with me. I work from home so I can take plenty of breaks to play with her, but she would much rather have another dog to keep her company. She is a super friendly dog and has never shown the slightest sign of aggression. We'd love to host another dog that is well tempered and house broken. I'd love if Mabel could find a new best dog friend to have sleepovers with.

Alex was a tremendous dog sitter, going above and beyond to make our nervous dog comfortable and entertained while we were away. Alex kept us informed and sent lots of photos each day so we could stay in touch with our dog. We were able to see all the places they walked and played together. I highly recommend Alex for anyone looking for top-notch, personal care for their dog.
Alex was an amazing host for Maebel while I was away for a weekend! Our dogs met prior to spending the weekend together to ensure they were a good match and they seemed to have a great time playing all weekend! Their dog has a great temperament and I felt very comfortable leaving Maebel with them. He and his girlfriend handled her puppy energy with ease. They were very communicative, sent pictures all weekend, and handled any concerns calmly. The two are very friendly, have the perfect yard for dogs to run around, and I would absolutely use them again in the future! Definitely recommend!
I can't say enough positive things about Alex and his attentiveness to our dog during his stay. He provided fabulous care and kept us updated with photos all along the way. His dog was also a great host and the two bonded quickly by romping and playing in Alex's large, fenced-in yard. It was our dog's first time away, so we weren't sure what to expect, but Alex made it very comfortable for us and our dog. It was a great experience and we'll be sure to turn to Alex when we need boarding again.
Alexander and Brittney boarded my seven month old pug Ollie while I went home unexpectedly to attend a funeral, I sent a message on Sunday and 15 mins later we had set up a meet and greet, Alexander was very responsive. Alexander has a beautiful dog named Mabel that Alexander wanted to make sure Mabel got along with. Her and Ollie hit it off, he had a best friend while I was away which was so adorable. They played and played for the 30 mins we were there for the meet and greet. This was the perfect option for me and Ollie, they have a big beautiful back yard and patio and a beautiful front yard and porch! It was perfect! They were less then 10 mins away from where I reside which was also a plus. I live in an apartment so I was looking for a boarder that had space for Ollie to run and play and burn off some energy!! They allowed me to walk through their home, there was plenty of space inside as well. They asked questions about feeding, walking etc. For the 5 days that Ollie was boarded I was sent several pictures of them walking Ollie, Mabel and Ollie playing, relaxing and Ollie having the time of his life. They went on regular daily walks which was great! As I write this Ollie can barely keep his eyes open, Thank you so much! If I ever need a boarder again Alexander will be the first person I reach out to. I still cant believe how easy this all was. Please reach out to Alexander this checked all of the boxes for a boarder for me. I am a new pet parent so they really put my worries and anxiety at ease as this was my first time away from Ollie for an extended amount of time. Ollie was well taken care of in my absence as if he belonged to them!

A typical day
I take a 3 mile walk on Sligo Creek around noon on weekdays, and most weekends I will go on a longer walk at further parks like the National Arboretum or Rock Creek Park. My backyard is great for dogs to play. We have plenty of toys including frisbees and tennis balls for playing fetch.
